  1. 65 years of age and above
  2. No source of regular income
  3. Should not be a professional beggar
  4. No son or grandson (Son’s son) of 20 years of age and above to support
  5. No capacity to earn.

DISTRESS RELIEF SCHEME

Rs.10,000 /- bereaved family of the poor household.
  1. Bereaved family who lost their breadwinner.
  2. Agricultural Labourers solely dependent on wage income.
  3. Marginal formats who possess less than 2.5 acres of irrigated land or 5 acres of unirrigated land or a total of 5 acres of irrigated and unirrigated land.
  4. Annual income Rs.7,200 from all sources.

ACCIDENT RELIEF SCHEME

  1. Rs.15,000 to the poor family who lost their breadwinner.
  2. Rs.7,500 to Rs.15,000 to the injured person according to the degree of injury.
  3. Rs.25,000 to the family of the building and construction worker.

 

  1. Persons engaged in 43 poor occupational categories as per G.O.No.491, Dt.23.5.89
  2. A application should be made within six months from the date of death.
